    Amund Lie

    Owner / operator
    West Norway

    Amund is a seasoned cameraman and scuba diver. He started his scuba diving journey at age 14 and obtained his BSAC/CMAS** license in Kenya in 1982. Trained as a 16/35mm film cameraman at The London Film School 1990 - 92, he ventured into various cameras, editing systems and film/TV productions over the years.

    In 2008, Amund transitioned into underwater cinematography with Europe's first housing for the RED One, later with other iterations, contributing to numerous film and television projects until 2019. Following a break as chairman and CEO of the family business, Amund is back and fully immersed in underwater cinematography - reclaiming his place in the underwater realm.

    stephan tschudi madsen

    Technician

    Stephan Tschudi Madsen, our in-house technician, boasts extensive experience in underwater technologies, including cameras, OC dive gear, ECCR rebreathers, and lighting equipment.

     

    As a defense contractor lighting systems expert, he excels in developing custom illumination solutions designed for military applications. His specialization lies in crafting bespoke systems that operate across various light spectrums, ensuring adaptability and effectiveness in diverse operational scenarios. This unique skill set, combined with his familiarity with advanced underwater equipment, positions him as a valuable asset capable of delivering tailored solutions for our non-military missions, particularly in challenging underwater environments.

    frode dalen

    Safety coordinator / Boat driver
    South Norway

    Frode Dalen, our experienced boat driver and safety coordinator for water filming, holds a background in sports science from Norges Idrettshøgskole. Based in Lysaker, Norway, and originally from Porsgrund, Telemark, he has been a personal trainer at SATS Norge since January 2000.

    Beyond his fitness role, Frode actively contributes to maritime safety with Redningsselskapet, the Norwegian Society for Sea Rescue, and serves as a fisheries inspector for Lysakerelva in Oslo. His diverse skills makes him a valuable asset, ensuring a secure filming experience while aligning with the broader mission of maritime safety.
